Psychotherapy & Counselling

In Psychotherapy and Counselling we will co-create a therapeutic space. Co-creation means that our time together will be unique to you and your circumstances. This is a dynamic process taking time to recognise and work sensitively with what you bring to the space at any time.

I do not apply a one size fits all approach to therapy. I am influenced by therapeutic approaches that seek to establish meaning, purpose and joy in life. I focus on establishing and building on your strengths. Understanding how you got to where you are, appreciating the purpose of behaviours to protect and nurture, and how these change over time, is a crucial step in this process.

We can engage online or in person at my office in WInchelsea Victoria, through 60-minute or 90-minute sessions with scope to vary this as needs arise.

Therapeutic Approach

I integrate a range of approaches, including;

  • Psychodynamic Interpersonal Therapy

  • Motivational Interviewing

  • Trauma Informed

  • Meaning Centred (Logotherapy)

  • Person Centred

  • Mindfulness Based

  • Strengths and Solution Focused

I integrate these into our time together as the need arises recognising the unique, nature of what arises between us at any one time.
